Interaction with young elephants rescued from mistreatment and circuses Visiting a waterfall in green surroundings. Learning life style of Long Neck Karen,refugees from Myanmar. Visit the most famous Doi Suthep temple of Chiangmai.
-06.30 Early morning pick up from your hotel.
-Transfer to Elephant Rescue Park established to help homeless elephants from circuses and mistreatment
-Get change to mahout outfit (prepared by the camp)
-Greet and feed elephants with banana or sugarcane prepared by the camp
-Interact with them and observe their habit
-Walk with them up hill to view point for shooting nice photos
-Enjoy bathing,brushing and splashing water with them
*This activity could be joined with other kind tourists
-Say Goodbye to your elephants and their mahouts
-Walk back to reception for taking shower and getting change
-Refreshment with snack or seasonal fruits
-After that we take about half an hour drive to visit Mok Fah waterfall
-Lunch will be served at a local restaurant
-Then drive to visit Long Neck Karen and hill tribes.You will learn about their history, life style,culture and tradition.
The village has been establish to be center of learning about hill tribes in Thailand. It is for tourism.
These people are refugees from Mynmar and China, so we will visit them at a touristic place only. And they are happy to have photos with you.
*Highly recommended to bring snack and candy for poor children at Long Neck Karen village.
-Then drive to visit the most important Doi Suthep temple. You will enjoy scenery of the moutain and see the golden pagoda buit to house a relic of Buddha. It is a must place of Chiangmai.
-16.00 Leave from the temple.
-17.00 arrival to hotel.
*Program is flexible to be switched due to suitable time at elephant park.
